Team Feedback

“I started my journey in 2018, where I started as a residential support worker and loved it! So much so I completed my Level 3 in Residential childcare and was promoted to Senior. I thoroughly enjoyed the extra responsibility and challenges and then made the move to Deputy Manager. I was a deputy for 3 years whilst living in Wolverhampton and continued the role there when I made the big move ‘up north’ to Blackburn. I came across Northridge Care Group and I really liked the approach and the family feel that the company gave off. With previous companies I felt I was treated more like a number and never really met any of the directors, Northridge was completely different!

I started with Northridge as a Senior Team leader and after a short period I was successful in role as Deputy Manager due to my experience in that role. When a vacancy arose for a Registered Manager, I was given the no pressure option of either continuing as a Deputy or to take on the Registered Manager’s role, I took my time to make the decision and spoke to various people within the company who were really supportive and that really settled my nerves! I happily accepted the new role and it has been an amazing journey so far, everyone is so helpful including senior management and our CEO is really approachable too. I really feel welcomed at Northridge and that I am part of a big family here.”

Leanne Fox, Registered Manager

"I really enjoy my job in HR at Northridge. It feels good to be part of something that makes a difference, and I’ve learned so much already while doing my Level 3 apprenticeship. Every day is different, and I like being able to support the team and help things run smoothly behind the scenes. It’s been a great place to grow, which is from someone who has grown massively since I started and is still growing and learning every day. I’m proud to be working in a role that helps support the amazing work the company does for young people.”
